June 2013 - DJFC Annual Summer BBQ & Presentation Day

Davenham Junior Football club are holding their annual summer BBQ & Presentations on Sunday 23rd June 2013 at Butchers Stile, Davenham (next to Cricket Club).

Everyone is welcome so please come down and support your local football team.

Dec 2011 - Under 10's team give local pensioners a gift this Christmas. Davenham Dynamoes Under 10's team recently collected food and made up Christmas Hampers for the pensioners who live in the homes around Butchers Stile football pitch. The hampers were delivered to the local residents on Saturday 17th December.

Nov 2011 - Players required for new under 14's girls team

DJFC is currently forming it's first under 14's girls team which it hopes to enter into next seasons Cheshire Girls Football League at Moss Farm which starts in January 2012.

Currently the team consists of 9 players and the club needs more girls to make up a full squad. The team currently train on Monday evenings with an experienced FA qualified coach. If the team can get enough players together before the start of the season, the girls hope to order a new 'pink' football kit which will be supplied by the club and aim to help raise awareness for the Breast Cancer Campaign (www.wearitpink.co.uk).
